I have my second motorola H700 headset paired to a samsung m300 phone. The problem is with my first headset after the pairing of the two, any time the headset was closed the bluetooth icon would go black (disconnect) and when the boom was open, the icon would go blue (automatically connect) to the phone. This new headset I have will pair fine, and I can connect it manualy and it will work fine. As soon as I close the boom and open it back up it will not connect again, I have to connect manually. I have tried pairing numerous times, turned off the phone, took out the battery, re-paired, still no luck. The original headset still works but the mic is shot. Tried pairing to my old headset again and it works just fine. Any suggestions?

Some phones allow you to set the options for the device in the bluetooth menu for each device. These options include auto authorize which is what you would be looking for to enable for your new headset to auto connect. I'm looking at the Samsung m300 user guide, but it doesn't mention this option, however it may be in the menu as an option when you select the device under the bluetooth menu.

I haven't used my Jabra BT 350 (one with the changeable plates) in a long time and was fully charged. Recently I decided to let my boyfriend use it and tried to charge it up and then pait it with his new cell phone. It either will not charge or is not working all together. The blue light flashes once as I plug it in. It's been plugged in for hours now and was just trying to pair it. The blue light will not come on to show it's in pairing mode and the green light does not come on to show it is charged and the red light does not come on to show the battery is low. What do I do? I've tried everything.

Well keeping it for long could be the problem here. batteries go extremely down and not even that charger would start it up to a level where it will begin normal charging no matter how long you leave it on charger. The only solution is having some kind of tech dismantle it access the rechargeable battery inside, boost its voltage or jump start it by directly connecting voltage on its terminals for about a minute then put it back. all should work then.regards

Display screen I got this new phone and when i turned it on for the first time it worked fine (minus the sim card). I put it on the charger. WHen I put my sim card in and turned my phone on (about 3 hours later)the graphics on the screen were messed up. It looks like a TV screen with EXTREMELY bad reception. I can't read anything on the screen. I have tried 3 different sim cards, a new battery, and i tried my sim card in my sister's phone which is exactly like mine and my card works in hers, but her battery or any other sim card doesn't work in mine. I have concluded that its the phone not the battery or sim card (duh). I have only touched this phone twice. What could cause this and how can I get it fixed??

Looks like a LCD display problem. Send it back to where you purchased it to avail of the warranty replacement.

Icom IC-A6 Airband radio keeps going off when trying to transmit

This is likely the result of a high current draw, ie too high for the battery capacity, which could be simple partially discharged batteries. Have you tried transmitting on low power? Does that make a difference? It would appear from the voltage that you are using rechargeable batteries such as NiMH which have a lower full charge voltage than alkaline cells. Though I have never used the A6, I do have several Icom handhelds, amateur and marine and they work fine using the NiMH cells, though it is possible that alkalines may help--it's worth a try.If none of the above makes a difference it would appear that something in the transmitter circuits is drawing too much current. A likely suspect (unfortunately) is the power transistor. Ouch. Good luck. Let us know what you find.

Low battery icon on Midland LXT350 walkie-talkies

Your LXT350 is equipped for using an optional rechargeable NiMH battery pack which can be recharged by inserting the AC adapter into the radio charge jack, or with the optional desktop charger.I would make sure the radio is off, then insert the charger. Charge only for the prescribed time (no more/no less) and remove from the charger.Charge time is initially 24 hours. Charge time is about 12 hours thereafter. For maximum battery life, it is recommend charging the battery pack when the low battery icon comes on. Remove the radios from the charger when the charge time expires.
