Purple light wont stay lit for pairing

Make sure the microphone is closed and the BlueTooth is off. Hold the button in until it turns purple. As soon as it does release the button and flip out the microphone. The purple light should stay lit all the time now. That is until the pairing process is done with the phone.

H700 Headset I have the H700 headset which worked perfectly with my Samsung D500. I have recently got a Samsung Z560 and am unable to pair headset with it. It is no longer paired to the D500 so can't understand what the problem is. Also don't get the pairing purple light just flashing blue. Phone just says unable to find devices. Can anyone help.

First off, you want to have the H700 fully charged up and it's probably good to have the Moto SLVR fully charged up too. Now turn off the H700 (the ring around the talk button should not be flashing blue every few seconds) then push the talk button for about five seconds, until the ring around it displays a purple color. Immediately let go of the button and flip open the tiny microphone extension. Now it's in pairing mode and you can leave it while you fiddle with the phone. This one worked for me.

I have my second motorola H700 headset paired to a samsung m300 phone. The problem is with my first headset after the pairing of the two, any time the headset was closed the bluetooth icon would go black (disconnect) and when the boom was open, the icon would go blue (automatically connect) to the phone. This new headset I have will pair fine, and I can connect it manualy and it will work fine. As soon as I close the boom and open it back up it will not connect again, I have to connect manually. I have tried pairing numerous times, turned off the phone, took out the battery, re-paired, still no luck. The original headset still works but the mic is shot. Tried pairing to my old headset again and it works just fine. Any suggestions?

Some phones allow you to set the options for the device in the bluetooth menu for each device. These options include auto authorize which is what you would be looking for to enable for your new headset to auto connect. I'm looking at the Samsung m300 user guide, but it doesn't mention this option, however it may be in the menu as an option when you select the device under the bluetooth menu.

Now you are ready to pair the headset with your phone, so follow the pairing instructions of your phone. Note: When prompted for the Passkey; it is most likely 0000 but the correct Passkey should be on the headset accessory instructions.
