My motorola H700 keeps staying red when charging

I had the same problem with my H700. I left it on the charger overnight and it was still red the next day. Before I tossed it, I decided to try discharging the battery completely by leaving the mic boom in the open position overnight even though the blue light wasn't coming on. After doing this I put it back on the charger and it charged properly. It's been working fine ever since.

H700 Motorola BT earpeice, no indicator lights aside from a green

Same thing happened to me. I call the support center and if you bought it from a 3rd party, it is probably a software problem. See if you can get a new one or buy it elsewhere.

Plantronics audio 995H wireless headset not charging when plugged into computer. It does not show a red light for charging. When turned on it stays blue for several seconds then flickers red for 2 or

I recently fixed my 955 headphones... it's probably not going to be attempted by most folks, but it saved a great set of headphones from being tossed and replaced.Basically you need to remove the right side padding and take out the 3 screws. This gets you access to the battery. The battery is a standard 3.6V lithium battery. Pretty much the same that is in most cell phones and many small toys. You can simply replace the battery with something like: http://dx.com/s/3.7v+liOr... here's what I did... add a lithium USB charger to the battery. http://dx.com/s/li+arduinoNow, if the battery dies I can plug it into USB and the phone will work while it charges.

Motorola H700 charge issues

The rechargeable battery may have reached it's limit of recharges. You can try leaving it on until you no longer see life (any light) coming from the H700. You want to drain it completely. Than charge it, (take note of how long it takes to reach full). If it dies like before in 15 minutes than the H700 is dead. You can take it to a Motorola store & might be able to exchange it for less than you first bought it. Or you can go here (Click the link) for a new one. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/search.asp?keywords=Motorola+H700&image12.x=13&image12.y=15 Luck! Mike

Motorola H700 pairing

It's important to note that the pin has to be entered while the light is still violet. On the phone, begin searching for bluetooth devices. With the boom closed, hold the center button until the light turns violet, then immediately flip the boom open. The phone should immediately find your H700. However, to pair successfully, you must enter the pin (0000) while the light is still violet. If the light goes off, close the boom, enter 0000, and while the phone says processing, hold the center button until the light turns violet and flip the boom open. The light on your H700 will turn blue, then flash rapidly, and your phone should say that it has paired successfully.

Purple light will not stay lit

I signed up JUST because this solution worked:"Hmm this may sound like a stupid solution that doesnt work but what i did is..., #1 I Held the button to make the violet light go on #2 when the violet light is on dont just flip the boom mic, flip* the earpiece with it. *note: when fliping the mic and earpiece, dont open slowly, flip it open fast and keep it there." I do want to note that my passcode was reset to nothing during my 3 months of troubleshooting. Not going to mess with it.
