Light only lights up while charging

I've had the headset for a month now. Suddenly, I won't work. When I charge the headset the light lights up. When I diconnect it from the cable, I try to turn it on or off and the light doesn't either blink or turn on! As if the headset was dead. But then, I connect the charge cable and it turns on. It has never fallen or get wet or anything. It is kind of akward.

Sometimes it takes longer than two hours. Leave it plugged in overnight if you can. The indicator light should go off after fully charging.

Bluetooth doesn't fully charge?

I've had the same problem. I tried charging it with the charger I got with it and with a PS3 controller charger, but neither seems to work. When I first plug it in, the blue light is very bright, but after about 15 second, it becomes real dim and sorta blinks. I have no clue what to do.

Won't charge I just got the H500 and when I plug it in to charge, the blue light flashes quickly. From reading the guide that came with it, I thought the light was supposed to stay illuminated and then go off when it is fully charged. I've had the unit plugged in for over 2 hours, but it's still flashing and when I unplug it, I can't turn it on. Is it simply defective out of the box?

Hold the call button for at least 10 seconds, if you get no joy, see if you can take the battery out and put it back in. Failing that, yes it would seem likely that it's defective out the box. If you bought it from a local retail store, take it back describing the defection and I'm sure they'll try to get it working themselves for you, failing that - they'll give you an option for a replacement or your money back.

Unable to use new h500 headset

The H500 is a monaural headset, thus good for phone calls only, not for listening to stereo music. You haven't specified which Motorola phone you own. Check in its user guide if it is able to handle stereo bluetooth headsets (i.e. if it bears the A2DP and AVRCP bluetooth profiles), which are suitable for music streams. If your phone is able to handle them, go to the mall (or store, or even online), buy one set which suits you better, pair them with your phone and enjoy! Just my 2 cents... Carlos

Plantronics audio 995H wireless headset not charging when plugged into computer. It does not show a red light for charging. When turned on it stays blue for several seconds then flickers red for 2 or

I recently fixed my 955 headphones... it's probably not going to be attempted by most folks, but it saved a great set of headphones from being tossed and replaced.Basically you need to remove the right side padding and take out the 3 screws. This gets you access to the battery. The battery is a standard 3.6V lithium battery. Pretty much the same that is in most cell phones and many small toys. You can simply replace the battery with something like: http://dx.com/s/3.7v+liOr... here's what I did... add a lithium USB charger to the battery. http://dx.com/s/li+arduinoNow, if the battery dies I can plug it into USB and the phone will work while it charges.

GN 9350 Headset won't charge, blue light remains off I tried the solution of placing the headset on the charging cradle, then pressing both phone/USB button simultaneously The headset light didn't go on. I also tried unplugging/plugging in the unit. Settings went off/on, so plug works. When I first place the headset on the charging cradle, the 4 green "blinky" lights go on, so it seems that I'm making a connection with the headset. There's a lever switch at the top of the headset - I can push it in or up/down, but not sure what that does. Ira Serkes

Unplug the unit, then take the ear piece and slide the battery off .... When you have the battery detached from the ear piece, wipe off the metal prongs, leave it off for a few minutes, then put back together. Make sure you plug the unit back in. It will take a couple hours for the unit to be charged. That should take care of the issue.
