Bluetooth has lost connection with phone and I can't get it back

You should delete the headset from the "paired devices" list on the phone and completely redo the pairing process, it sounds like the two have gotten into some kind of wierd state. If you need help with this please include the make and model of your phone.

Bluetooth module not attached

1.Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue.2.Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1.3.On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device4.Select H500 once a connection is detected.5.The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm the connection has been made.6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".Tips:1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset.2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On".3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".please give good rating if the solution works. Thanks for using FixYa.

Bluetooth connection not working Kenwood KCA BT100 with KDC W7537U and a Nokia N95

The problem is on the kca end of things. If you pair your phone and all works well walk away from the car and the connection is lost but once you return to the car it reconnects automaticly. If however you turn the stereo off you have to re-pair the devices to get them to work. Is there anyway to alter the settings of the kca bt-100?

I am trying to disconnect my bluetooth from my old cell phone and reconnect it to my new cellphone

Quite old question, but still here is the answer: At that time you were experiencing compatibility issues of the bluetooth versions of the connections of the car and the phone. Right now they should connect together with no problems, or maybe the car itself would need an upgrade to the bluetooth portion of the firmware to be able to connect with newer devices. It possibly not only firmware, but also hardware replacement possibility.
