Setting up device on computer and using with Skpe

I have been able to get the headset into pairing mode and install it on the computer. But when I go to control panel-Bluetooth devices-Motorola H700-services, no services are listed for the device. When I try to set up Sounds and Audio Devices, Bluetooth is not an option listed under Sound playback, Voice playback, etc. Under Sounds and Audio-Devices, no bluetooth devices or drivers are listed. Same problem in Skype, Bluetooth does not come up as an option to select for audio. When I installed the headset on the computer I set passkey enabled 0000.

Bandwidth sounds logical, so check if your USB ports are configured as USB 2.0 and not USB 1.1 (which is slower).Apart from that, it could really be a driver compatibility issue. The driver architecture in Vista is different from XP, so even if the driver is accepted, it does not mean it provides the same performance and quality. Best if you can get real Vista (signed) drivers.Jules

You need to put the device into pair mode, consult the instruction manual with how to do that (usually means hold the power button until you get a blue/red flash) when you have the device in pairing mode, when you search it will show up.Rylan
