Hi guys. I have a problem and not sure what to do. I have a Madcatz headset used primarily for the ps3 and the ps3 dont seem to pick up during the scan even when the usb is plugged in. I mean there is a direct connection but nout! I had the headset registered to my previous ps3 and found his during a search on the internet, "If the headset has been paired with another Bluetooth® device before, the PS3™ will have trouble finding the headset. Either remove the headset from the paired device or turn off the Bluetooth® functionality on the paired device." My old ps3 cannot be obtained so removing it from there is a no no. so what else can i do. what is turning off the bluetooth functionality. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Max

You should call Mad Catz, their number is 1.800.659.2287

Plantronics Explorer 220 no longer connects to Blackberry Curve

You can have the two devices connected, but still get your sound through the phone. During a call (maybe call your voicemail or an automated number, just to make a call) try holding down the answer/end button on the earpiece until it beeps, and see if the sound switches from the phone to the earpiece. You can also try pressing the speakerphone button on your phone during a call to switch the call to the earpiece. Did either of those ideas work?

Bluetooth "device out of range or powered off"

I had lots of trouble too. I thought it was my phone. Well here's what you do. First off remove the device completely from your phone. Turn off the phone and take the battery off so it can re-boot. When the phone is powered back up put your bluetooth in pairing mode and get it back on your phone. It should connect without any problems. Now....here is the trick. When you want to disconnect the device(bluetooth) from your phone don't turn it off on your phone. Shut the actual power off on your bluetooth. The phone will recognize this and disconnect the device. The only thing left on your phone will be the bluetooth icon. Being the icon still on your phone it is still in discovery mode and can overtime use up your battery life searching for a device. This is when you can go to your phone and turn off the bluetooth. On your NV 2 go to your bluetooth menu and just use your left softkeyto turn it off. Now there is no connection whatsoever. And to turn it back on do the opposite. Go to your bluetooth menu and turn on your bluetooth. You will see the bluetooth icon. Now you power up the bluetooth and it will connect as soon as it get the signal. This took me 2 weeks of trial and error and other stuff but I am happy now and I hope this solves any bluetooth problems...
