H700 headset can't hear me!

Hi.. I have an H700 headset(used with a Nokia 6288) which has been working fine for ages but it has now decided to go 'mute' on me. I can hear everything perfectly but nobody can hear me and it doesn't hear me even to do voice dialling. I can't find my little instruction book and wondered if anyone knows if I've pushed buttons in a wierd sequence or something!

The average life of a Bluetooth Earpiece is usually a few years. When you are having symptoms like you are describing it usually means that the Blutooth headset is at the end of its service life. You might want to cintact Motorola and see if they will Warranty them.

I have this problem: I accidentally pressed both volume buttons when I put the headset on. I heard the two desending tones and the mic went mute. I tried to tap the two vollume buttons to disable the mute feature, but it will not reset. I can not reset the the headset by holding the two volume buttons while holding down the power button, because it does not show a solid blue light. What to do?

I now have the same problem with, not just one, but two different bluetooth devices. Both worked fine about a week ago, now they don't...not likely that two are broken. Has to be a conflict of settings on the blackberry. I have a Tour. do you have a slacker or another internet radio app loaded?

I Cant seems to pail motorola h700 headset to samsung g600

Well, it sounds to me like you know how to get the headset in pairing mode, have you tried turning off your old e900 and then pairing? This guide was taken from here. In standby mode, press Menu. Highlight Applications and click Select. Highlight Bluetooth and click Select, or just press 4. Highlight My devices and click Select, or just press 2. Put your remote device into pairing mode. You can find out how to do this from the manual that came with the device. When the device is in pairing mode, highlight Search new device and click Select. If Bluetooth is not activated on your G600, you'll be prompted to switch it on. Click Yes. The G600 will search for all the Bluetooth devices in the proximity. The type of device will be indicated by the icon to the left of it, so you can clearly see if the device is a PC, a phone or a remote headset. You'll be asked to enter the PIN number to connect to the device. This is in the documentation that came with the remote device but if in doubt, try 1234 or 0000, as these are the most common PINs. Once connected, the device's icon will turn orange on the My devices screen, and when you press the red End call key to return to standby mode, you'll see the headphone icon on the top row of the screen. Your headset will now be paired permanently with your G600. Switch the device off to disconnect it, and next time you switch it on the phone will connect automatically, providing your Blueooth is activated (go to Menu, Applications, Bluetooth, Activation, On to activate Bluetooth). My apologies for the copy past guide, I have never used a samsung phone.
