Motorol HS820 Speaker issue

User "Nitol" seems to be having the same problem with this headset. I'd recommend calling motorola support, see what they think of it. If you're lucky, they'll recognise the apparently common probem and help you out.

Right speaker died due to a wiring flaw

I just dealt with one of these last month, its a ten minute fix if you have a soldering iron. The wire gets strained inside, they didn't allow enough slack in the wire for the movement of the earpieces. A quick resolder of the broken connection and a dab of hot glue to keep it from moving was all it took. Cost of repair was zero.

No Voice Through Headset

From another website. I can't take any credit:"I'm using Vista. Okay, I finally figured out how to fix it .... Control Panel -> Sound -> Right-click "Properties" -> "Levels" Tab -> Un-mute Microphone and move the slider to 100."Then turn up the headset speaker control all the way.

Issue with volume on Motorola MT352 2-way radio. Sound is very low / quiet even at max volume. Issue with only 1 radio out of set of 3. This is true even with a headset. How do I reset?

It is an audio issue if you are using the correct headset. It is not "resetable" If under warranty, get a new radio. If not, you will need to take the radio apart, resolder the audio jack and also the speaker (hey, it is apart) and retry. We have a 10% success rate with this repair and a -0-% with anything else. Sometimes the automatic manufacturing machines do not perform a proper soldering. There are NO PARTS available. It is a "throw away" radio.

Krackling sound with logitech clearchat wireless at 44khz

Bandwidth sounds logical, so check if your USB ports are configured as USB 2.0 and not USB 1.1 (which is slower).Apart from that, it could really be a driver compatibility issue. The driver architecture in Vista is different from XP, so even if the driver is accepted, it does not mean it provides the same performance and quality. Best if you can get real Vista (signed) drivers.Jules

Pairing Motorola HS820 with Blackberry 8310

Hi, there is really no fail safe method to pairing a bluetooth device. The main thing is recognition. i,d suggest trying to press the different buttons on the transmitting bluetooth device, whilst attempting to pair. i.e volume up/down or on/off et,c. to enable the device-blackberry to find and sync. i,d think the device that needs to be configured or setup correctly is the blackberry rather than the bluetooth device. try changing the phone settings. to accept all incoming signals on bluetooth, or disable encryption. hope this helps. Broke earpiece the earpiece on my headset fell off but now i would like to hook it up to a small speaker, how can i do this so i hear from the speaker but talk through the mic still

It's doable, but you might wan't to consider buying a stand alone mic, they come pretty cheap. What you need is a speaker with internal amp, and a new pl jack - you cant just patch it into the wire that went into your earpiece, its a different kind of wire. When you go to radio shack or equivalent to get the jack, ask them to show you what kind and exactly how to go about it. Not very complicated, but maybe unnecessary. Good luck
