Very poor battery life

The battery life for this device is rated at around 6 hours talk time, plus (as far as I know) it is a lithium ion battery so even if it isn't used, it should retain a charge for a long time (like a year). But mine gives me the "low battery" beeps (5 rapid beeps) continuously after only about 5 minutes of talking after a full charge. Also, I once tried using it after not using it for a few weeks and the battery was completely dead, even though I had charged it a few weeks earlier and not used it. Is my battery really crap or is it just 'not worn in' yet or something. Can you tell me

It will not make a call or let me hear dialing of numbers or anthing. I know that my bluetooth works, i just lost the directions on how to link it with my new razor. it was linked to my old razor, but i lost it and ever since I have had this new phone it does not work together. can you help me. I spent a lot of money on my bluetooth for it to just go to waste. Thanks very much, Angie

Battery needs replacement

Hi alvaring Use a med/thin guitar pick and slip it under the edge of the casings and run it around the perimeter to snap open the casing locks. This method works for all snap together devices, and I have not found a better way yet!! Good luck. A FixYa rating would be great for this bit of knowhow.. regardsGraeme

I have my second motorola H700 headset paired to a samsung m300 phone. The problem is with my first headset after the pairing of the two, any time the headset was closed the bluetooth icon would go black (disconnect) and when the boom was open, the icon would go blue (automatically connect) to the phone. This new headset I have will pair fine, and I can connect it manualy and it will work fine. As soon as I close the boom and open it back up it will not connect again, I have to connect manually. I have tried pairing numerous times, turned off the phone, took out the battery, re-paired, still no luck. The original headset still works but the mic is shot. Tried pairing to my old headset again and it works just fine. Any suggestions?

Some phones allow you to set the options for the device in the bluetooth menu for each device. These options include auto authorize which is what you would be looking for to enable for your new headset to auto connect. I'm looking at the Samsung m300 user guide, but it doesn't mention this option, however it may be in the menu as an option when you select the device under the bluetooth menu.

I have two interphone headsets that we have used for 4 years. We have begun to only have battery life for 2-3 hours. Is there a way to change batteries? Any help will be appreciated. They have served us really well, and would like to extend their life

With the BT Interphone that I have (~4yrs), one unit's battery would last <1hr. I carefully cut the rubber case along the bottom mold mark to remove the circuit board. The battery is a 3.7v 600 mah lipo. These are available from a variety of hobby shop sources, but are 650mah. $7-15 ea. Very careful cutting of the rubber case and minimal heat soldering is critical in installing a new cell. I'll use 3m weatherstrip adhesive to close it up. Otherwise a complete new 3rd generation BT set-up is about $90 online. Mine still works good though.

Change battery on a motorola bluetooth H700 - Motorola Mobility H700 Wireless Headset

Turn off the unit before attempting a battery replacement. Without doing so, the power disruption that the headset will acquire can damage the internal workings. Find the even **** on the bottom side of the unit, where the microphone boom is attached. Place the edge of a flathead screwdriver along these slits, and twist gently back and forth until the unit opens up. Do not completely open the unit up, however. Find the small ring near the plug and the mini-USB port. Use the screwdriver to push under the ring where the battery is found. Push forward gently to pop the battery out.
