I have a pantronics gamecom 1. the wiring has come loose inside the headset, and the left speaker goes on and off as it pleases. the right one is fine, but i would like to know where exactly to find the screw to take it apart and resolder if necessary. i have a basic electronics degree, and am out of a job at the moment, so this would be my best solution. if you are unable to tell me where the screw is, would you happen to know where i can find a schemata of this product? google.com searches have returned nil. thank you in advance for your assistance

Most headphones hide the access under the part that fits to your ear. The Black rubber pad cushion should remove and you made need to peal away the foam part depending on the type. You might have to glue it back on when done. There should be between 2 and 4-5 screws of the tiny possidrive type. I found soldering the wires back on tricky. They seem to resist the solder, sometimes a bit of spit helps. The biggest problem however to headphone repair is getting the Black foam pad back on! There's a kind of skirt that has to go around the thing and it never wants to go on!! PS make certain the cable doesn't have breaks in it especially around the plug!!

I used the cd for drivers for audio for G930 headset. After setup the headphones worked fine. Unfortunately, now when I want to watch movies on my pc using my Logitech speakers and my soundmax digital audio soundcard, I can't get any sound from my speakers! Right now, my only option is to use my headphones to listen to everything I play back on my computer! There has to be a way to bring back my speaker audio, right? I clicked the speaker icon on the right corner of my (Win XP O/S) pc and it indicated that Soundmax audio was there, but everytime I clicked on it and proceded to playback a movie, it would go back to Logitcch G930 Headset as the only playback option...do I have to remove the Logitech drivers and do something different?

No you don't have to remove drivers just try to disconnect the usb transmiter for your headphone.it may be rare but sometimes it works

Right speaker has a shorrt

Access screws on headphones are sometimes under the ear padding, or maybe on the opposite side under a sticker or label. Sometimes the wire will have come loose from the internal speaker, or it could be the external cable has been abused enough that the copper strands inside have separated.

Right speaker died due to a wiring flaw

I just dealt with one of these last month, its a ten minute fix if you have a soldering iron. The wire gets strained inside, they didn't allow enough slack in the wire for the movement of the earpieces. A quick resolder of the broken connection and a dab of hot glue to keep it from moving was all it took. Cost of repair was zero.
