One of the radios will not go on even with new batteries...how do i fix it? Thanks This is in reference to motorola talkabout T5100

When you say it will not go on, if you are getting no display, sound or light illuminating, you have a defective radio. (Other than if the batteries are installed backwards.) If you are getting a display and other functions it could be your radio is no longer programmed the same as your others. Check your programming to see if it is identical on frequency, code and Qt filter if any. Here is a link to the user manual http://www.motorola.com/mdirect/manuals/T50-T55_UserGuide.pdf

Unfortunately, internal parts for the TalkAbout radios have never been made available to dealers or consumers. Your best option is to buy a used and/or defective radio via ebay (or similar source) to use for parts. Or lastly, simply retire this radio and replace it. Sorry our news could not be better. Best regards.
